Can someone recommend a good place to purchase a power steering pump for a 2003 mini cooper S. Or can I pull the current one and send it out to be rebuilt?

Thank you for the suggestion. Is there any other companies that actual list it on their site? This site gathers all your information prior to knowing price, or if they have it in stock.

I'd just call miniworld direct and ask if they have it and price...(site above)
I've had good luck here to, but they don't list mini ....http://car-part.com/

Thank you very much for your quick replies. Are these websites that search scrap yard inventory? Also do you know where I can do a comparison of a new unit, besides BMW?
I heard I should be able to purchase a new one for around 600 is that true? I might spend that instead of getting a used one as I would be a little worried of the same thing happening again.

BBA Reman will rebuild the pump for $200....takes three days before you get the pump back....lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.
