I have custom Rims on my 2005 Mini Cooper and now the Tire Pressure Monitoring System will not stop blinking.  Has anybody else had this issue?  Is there a way to make the light stop???

Roll slowly with the front wheels going straight and press and hold the button by your hand brake. That will calibrate the system for different wheels sizes.

Does this method apply for a mini which just got new tires installed as well? I just picked up my 03 tonight and on the way home (roughly 20 miles) the flat tire warning began to flash on the speedometer. I pulled over to check out the tires which are fine, but the dang flat tire monitor warning light keeps flashing. Will this fix my issue as well? Please let me know. Thank you.

We had the same problem until we were told on this "Forum" to press the button by the hand brake. Now everything is fine!!!!

I held down the button for a few seconds while still parked in my driveway (with the engine running obviously). The flashing yellow light turned solid for a couple of seconds then turned off. I drove to work this morning with no problems. Thanks again for the tip!
