i see what ur sayin.........i have a 86 t-type that came with a 231 v6 turbo and put some NOS on it and brought it to english town right after buyin it and blew the head clear off the motor. glad i saw a friend with a trailer up that day and also only brought one of his cars being the trailer holds 2 and got a ride home. Dropped a early 70's 400sb with a 2bolt main and did that up with a bigger shot on nos. i wasnt into the turbo thing and got the car even faster with the swap. now the car just sits in storage at my friends place cuz i have no time to finish it and get it out on the road again .

my car is at home, on the trailer where it has been since last season when i broke three rocker arms during a run. i knew something was going wrong, but it was a money run and i tried to baby it through...i did win, but it caused quite a bit of damage, top end only. so i have left it with my father who is an engine builder, and he is freshening up the engine, and fixing the top end issues...also, i have moved, and we already have 4 vehicles, so there isnt much room right now for a car and trailer.

If i had more space at my new place id have the car down here runnin.....last time i touched it was about 4yrs ago and was finishing a few things i redone and still needs the exhaust to be put back on. At one point i was selling it , but i couldnt give it up when people offered me the dough cuz the car runs hard. ill get it down here one day when i get more time.

my car is fully drivable, but its a bit worn out...im losing a bit of compression and with the VERY tired valve springs im getting alot of rev with no power...it was running 12.80s late last season...but i had lost a consistant 2 tenth from earlier in the season...WITH mods...i thought at first that maybe the new parts were bad, so we swapped them out, and no change...also, 5mpg get a bit rough...

a neighbor has a T Type for sale..i keep meaning to stop and look at it...
